Description
Enthusiasm and flexibility are key criteria for working with EJO.

The post involves leading a team responsible for running a successful course and for providing students with an enjoyable and worthwhile stay in England.

The following information is given as a guideline only (individual course details will be discussed during interview):

Course Directors normally work the equivalent of a 6-day week. In smaller centres when student numbers are very low they may be teaching up to 22 x 45 minute lessons per week as part of this commitment. Weekly staff meetings must also be undertaken.

All residential positions include full-board accommodation.

Requirements
Ideally, Course Director positions require candidates to have a degree and a recognised TEFL qualification, such as the CELTA or DELTA. Relevant management, team leading and summer school experience are as important as formal qualifications.

Applications from those without these qualifications can be considered if the applicant can demonstrate that they have sufficient experience to carry out the role. We ask all applicants invited for interview to bring with them original copies of qualification certificates together with one photocopy of each for us to keep.
