We are a private residential childcare organisation working with young people aged between 10 – 17 who have experienced a trauma in their lives and because of this life changing experience, they are considered to be challenging or have emotional behaviour.
Due to our continued expansion we currently have vacancies for Residential Support Workers at all levels of experience, to be based in our homes in the Shrewsbury / Staffordshire/Powys area.
We believe that by combining childcare with a range of extensive outdoor activities we can provide the right balance to enable these young people to progress in life.
We are looking for people with the dual ability to be support workers, who enjoy the challenge of outdoor activities.
As an employer we will provide you with a full induction programme, on-going relevant training, the opportunity to either obtain, or improve upon (if already held), a relevant NVQ qualification, and a true career progression within childcare.
Perhaps you are already working with young people in an outdoor setting and are looking for a fresh challenge.
We welcome applications from experienced professionals as well as enthusiastic people who would relish the chance to develop and support young people through a variety of issues using outdoor activities such as kayaking, climbing, gorge walking, mountain biking. |

All applicants must be a minimum of 21 years of age or over, as stipulated by Care Standards, and a full driving license is essential. Due to the sensitive nature of the duties required, successful candidates will be expected to undertake criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessary be a bar to obtaining a position with Reflexion Care Group Limited trading as New Reflexions
