As a Senior Instructor you shall be responsible for a team off approx 15-20 instructors, assisting the Activities Manager with programming the guest’s activities and activity staff rota.
You will ensure that all activity groups are staffed and that the staff are qualified/trained to lead them. You will be Qualified in your field of activity of land or watersports based activities and will also lead activities using best practice. You will be at the front line when welcoming guests to camp/centre, meeting teachers, parents and leaders as well as departures.
You will be a member of the Camp/centre Senior team answering to the Activities Manager and assisting in the overall camp operations. You will have a strong activity background and hold many NGB awards at a senior level.
A key part of your role is overseeing and training others in the delivery of a activities and evening entertainments. |

We are looking for a candidate who will develop a superb rapport with staff and guests alike, be an Outdoor Adventure professional with Senior Adventure qualifications and experience.
You will ideally hold experience at a senior level at an Adventure Centre/Summer Camp or be willing/ready to make the next step up on your Career ladder.
You should also hold one or more of the following qualifications:
BCU/ICU Canoe/Kayak Level 3 Coach TRG/ASS,
Single Pitch Assessment or Training/Mountain Leader Assessment/Training, RLSS/ILSS Beach Lifeguard, BSA/ISA Surf Coach, GNAS Archery, BFA Club Leader, Environmental Degree, Language Diploma/Degree (French/Italian/German/Spanish), First Aid qualification, D1 Driving License.
