Description
Lead trekking holidays in Oman!

Working as part of a small team (1-3 other people) you will ensure that guests on trekking and activity holidays or day trips have a safe, enjoyable and comfortable experience.

Responsibilities will include:

* Leading and running the activity and/or tour to ensure guests have an enjoyable holiday
* Driving guests in 4WD across Oman safely and comfortably
* Helping guests put up and take down their tents on a daily basis
* Helping with the camp set-up (kitchen, washing areas, collecting firewood etc) on a daily basis
* Leading/accompanying guests on day treks or activities throughout their holiday
* Carrying additional equipment while on day trek/activity (i.e water / picnic lunch)
* Staying at camp on occasion throughout the day to provide security while group is on trek/activity
* Supporting members of staff and other areas of the company as and when required
* Contributing to the overall development of the company by identifying areas requiring improvement and putting forward solutions to these
* Representing Muscat Diving & Adventure Centre externally where necessary.

Requirements
Person specification

Essential:
* Experienced and qualified in all or some of the following:
- Mountain leader
- SPA
- Kayaking/BCU
- Mountain biking
- Outdoor activity leadership
* A positive, enthusiastic and sociable personality
* A willingness and ability to work outdoors doing physical, manual work
* Ability to work in a busy environment under time pressures
* A flexible approach and willingness to learn and develop
* Understanding and affinity with the goals of Muscat Diving & Adventure Centre
* A clean driving licence

Desirable:
* A second language, ideally European such as English, French or German
