We operate a Chateau in Normandy, North/West France. The Chateau is situated in 22 acres of land and is located near the village of Molay Littry. The Chateau has 40 bedrooms (can sleep up to 200 people) with meeting rooms, library, games room, lounge area and bar. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool (open from May), tennis court, crazy golf, mini golf and access to mountain bikes.
The Kitchen Porter/Night Porter position is dual role which requires that you work two weeks as Kitchen Porter followed by two weeks as Night Porter. The Night Porter is a responsible role, which requires maturity and the ability to deal with fire hazards and disturbances. Duties whilst working on the night shift will include nightly cleaning of public areas and organisation of buffet breakfast. As the Kitchen Porter you will have responsibility for washing up after each meal and ensuring that the kitchen is left in an immaculate and hygienic state. In addition the Kitchen Porter will help with food preparation, service of food from the kitchen, receiving deliveries and storing them correctly.
