Work in the Alps this Winter! 

The chalet host is arguably one of the most important roles we have as it provides the interface between guests and the Company. The importance of the role to the success of our business and more importantly, the enjoyment of our guests, cannot be over-estimated. The chalet host position incorporates all characteristics of running a chalet including among many other aspects, cleaning and entertaining guests.

The main job is cleaning, whether it be hovering rooms, cleaning bathrooms, pot washing in the kitchen, dusting, there is a lot of cleaning. I’d be lying otherwise. Serving the evening meals with an ever ready smile, serving behind the bar, clearing snow when we have had a large snow fall. Hopefully you will get the feeling that we are looking for adaptable and hard working people because that is what the job requires.

We offer an attractive weekly wage including full board accommodation, a season’s lift pass and plenty of time on the slopes to use it, insurance and the use of skis and boots for the season. All staff can join in ski lessons for free as a great perk of the job. You have a comprehensive pre-season training course as well as transport you to and from the resort at the beginning and end of the season.

Requirements

All applicants must hold an EU passport, and a UK National Insurance number.

To be considered you must be physically fit and smart in appearance, with enthusiasm, initiative and excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment as part of a close-knit team. It would be of great help if applicants had knowledge of conversational French.
