Chalet Host

Description

We are currently recruiting for Chalet Hosts for the winter. These hosts will be responsible for running chalets for 8/10 guests.

The responsibilities for the catered chalet host will include:

* Providing all meals to a high standard, 6 days per week. Meals to consist of breakfast, afternoon tea, children's high teas, when necessary and a 3-course dinner.
Additionally you may need to prepare picnic lunches for our guests.

* Serving, clearing and washing up

* Planning and shopping for food

* Ensuring that all budgets are adhered to and that all financial records are maintained. Note you must be computer literate, own a laptop and have access to Excel spreadsheets

* Ensuring that excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in/around the chalet at all times

* Helping to set up and close down the chalet at the start and end of the season

* Acting as a ski host (i.e. no instruction simply social skiing)

* Collecting guests lift passes and taking guests to lessons on the first day and to the ski hire shop.

This position should enable you to ski on 5 days during the week both with the guests and by yourselves.

Please note that you must be able to ski/snowboard well to apply for this job. In addition you must have a UK National Insurance number and a UK bank account -  all applications that do not fit this basic criteria will be ignored

* Ability to cook high quality meals under a strict budget and for a number of people sometimes with differing dietary requirements
