Club Reps required to complete the team for 2008 - immediate start through to September. Live and work onboard our ship, permanently moored in the stunning Salcombe Estuary. Our floating base provides the perfect setting for our sailing school and multi-activity centre. The Club Reps form a key part of the team, representing the domestic and social side of an ICC experience. This is a varied role including housekeeping work, looking after our younger sailors outside of sailing sessions, and bar work.
The Club Rep job does include the hard work of cleaning the cabins, communal and bathroom areas. It is however offset by working in such a fun atmosphere and the other duties working with the children and bar work in the evenings. Many opportunities to learn to sail and help out with other outdoor activities present themselves during the season - ideal for people looking for a fun summer and many of our Club Reps have used this job as a way into the outdoor industry. Previous experience is not essential as full on-job training will be given. Most important will be enthusiasm, versatility whilst working, an interest in working with children and people generally, an interest in the outdoors and a good sense of humour.
An interest in sailing and other activities will be an advantage, as many opportunities will present themselves throughout the season to learn or enhance existing skills.
Working in such a unique environment is a fun, rewarding and challenging experience.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a CRB check. |
