Description

We are looking for a full time cook to cater for residential groups at our popular outdoors centre. We provide good quality, healthy home cooked meals to our customers and staff.

Duties will include;
preparing and serving meals to school, youth and adult groups; order food; managing kitchen porter; maintaining a high standard of hygiene in all food prep areas. There is also an option of extending the job to include domestic management.

Hours will be to suit the customers using the centre, but not usually late evenings.

Requirements

Experience in a similar position is preferred but training can be given. Food hygiene certificate essential. Knowledge of food allergies and special diets will be required.
An enhanced disclosure from Disclosure Scotland will be expected.
All staff must be checked by disclosure Scotland, the cost of this is to be paid by the employee.
