Flotilla Skipper

Description

Are you RYA Coastal Skipper or Offshore Yacht Master with a Commerical Endorsement? Sunsail are currently recruiting skippers for the 2010 summer season.

Your main duties will centre around the yachts, the base and ports of call. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to cover operational requirements.

In this fulfilling and exciting role you will be required to be responsible for and undertake the following duties:

* Presentation and maintenance of yachts

* Full first day briefing to the entire flotilla

* Safety of all clients throughout the week

* Daily briefings to clients on route and weather information

* Safe Mooring of all yachts each day

* Assisting the lead crew with all aspects of running the flotilla and socialising with guests

* All yacht preparation on turnaround days

* Briefings

* Sharing knowledge of local area

* Advising on sailing questions

* Assisting with the organisation of group meals, BBQ's and punch parties

Requirements

In order to apply for this role you are required to have an RYA Offshore Yachtmaster or Coastal Skipper (commercially endorsed), experience within a customer facing environment and strong organisational skills.
