Description
Are you friendly, confident, conscientious, professional and fun? Then you could be just the person we are looking for to join our team at Rock and River. We offer activities such as climbing & abseiling, hill walking, orienteering, kayaking, open canoeing, raft building, archery, air rifles, Initiative exercises, zip wire, low ropes and high ropes.
As an experienced freelance instructor you will, instruct or assist with all of the activity sessions run at Rock and River so you’ll have the chance to put your experience to good use.
Instructing at Rock and River is enjoyable, rewarding, but also challenging in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This opportunity provides an ideal chance to work with a wide variety of groups in an exciting outdoor adventure and teamwork environment.
A typical day as a freelance instructor would include the delivery of 5+ multi activity sessions; each activity would last for an hour. At the start of the day, you would be responsible for meeting and greeting, setting up and running your sessions.
Requirements
Applicants must have proven relevant experience working with a variety of groups along with a keen interest in adventure activities and at least two of the following N.G.B’s: Level 1 UKCC Coach, C.W.A. or S.P.A. assessed, GNAS, NRSA, M.L. Assessed. In addition to this preferably you would be a driver and hold a current C.R.B. Check. (On-site assessments will also be considered).
