Spend the summer cooking in Switzerland!
Camp Suisse is looking for a friendly, well-motivated individual who is passionate about cooking. You must be a good team player and be able to work with a range of individuals. You will work with the support of at least one junior chef and under the help and guidance of the Camp Director.
Key Duties:
• Manage the Camp Suisse kitchen
•Oversee all food related operations
•Manage and motivatre the team (approx 12 kitchen staff and cleaners)
• Monitor and manage food supplies and stores
• Cook to a budget
• Prepare good quality food for our campers and staff (around 150 people per day)
• Organise and oversee menus including special dietary requirements
• Be responsible for cleaniless and hygiene of the kitchen and stores
• Enjoy yourself!
Requirements
A good knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene is very useful, as is experience in the food service industry and of managing a team. You must be mature and responsible and able to work on your own initaitive. No specific experience / qualifications are required, just the right attitude, a strong personality and a love of cooking...
You are encouraged to get involved with our outdoor adventure activities in your time off.. mountain biking, climbing etc.
