Directly reporting to the Travel Class Operations Team and Holiday Village Experience Manager the Activity Manager is responsible for the management and product delivery at the Holiday Village, Travel Class staff and the safety and welfare of all our customers. Managing a team of Crèche and Activity staff, you will ensure that your staff are motivated, presented in line with company grooming standards and focused on delivering excellent results. The activity team will act as exemplary role models and be a key point of contact for all customers throughout their stay.
What You'll Be Doing
- Promoting excellent customer service, communicating with all customers (Internal and External) ensuring that expectations are exceeded and targets are achieved.
- Responsible for ensuring that all customers are greeted on arrival and throughout their stay at the Holiday Village by the activities team.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s Health and Safety Policy is adhered to and that excellent standards of Health and Safety are maintained at the Holiday Village, including accurate record keeping and report writing.
- Positive promotion of all sessions to all customers throughout the operation to ensure maximum attendance on all sessions.
- Ensure the Company’s Equal Opportunity policy is being followed in all aspects of Holiday Village operations
- Responsible for the development of all Travel Class staff at the Holiday Village by carrying out timetabled performance development reviews and regular one to ones with team members.
- Coordinating onsite staff training and apprenticeship work in compliance with the Travelclass induction scheme and the activity standards and procedures.
- Ensuring that all Off Ground activities operate in line with the Company’s ‘Off Ground’ policy at all times.
- Co-ordinate with other Holiday Village teams to ensure that the customers receive an excellent holiday experience.
- Responsibility to complete effective weekly timetabling of all age groups (Crèche, Kids Club, Escape, Family and Adult) to maximize the delivery of sessions and attendance on sessions.
- Ensuring that activity staff assigned to age group as per job role, qualifications and customer numbers.
- Compliance with the company’s child protection policy at all times.
Requirements
- 21 years old or above.
- Valid driving license and Passport.
- IT literate.
- Organisational skills to enable achievement of weekly deadlines & targets. Previous experience in working with targets (financial and non financial) and budgets.
- Previous experience in the effective delivery of team management, to include Performance & Development management.
- Flexibility within role and to change locations as per business needs.
- Act as a positive role model to motivate and inspire a team at all times.
- Motivational and inspiring to drive a team to achieve excellent results
- A proven record of Excellent customer service Excellent time management and ability to delegate where appropriate.
- Satisfactory receipt of ‘Subject Access Disclosure’ and ‘Enhanced CRB Disclosure’.
