Acorn are now recruiting for casual freelance Activity Instructors to join us at our NEW Outdoor Activity Centre in Worcestershire for 2012!

We are looking to recruit both qualified and unqualified Activity Instructors who will be responsible for the delivery of activity sessions to our guests at our new centre in Arrow Valley Country Park in Worcestershire.  This centre is based in the Countryside Visitors Centre and situated next to Arrow Valley Lake where we operate our Watersports sessions.

Whether you are looking to further your career in the outdoor industry or just want to spend some time instructing your favourite activity, we can offer excellent opportunities.

This role is ideal for experienced BCU / UKCC Level 1 or 2 Coaches and applicants
with land based NGB qualifications or experience. Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of water and land based activity sessions, from kayaking and paddle boarding to orienteering and climbing. Our clients include schools, colleges, youth groups, children’s holiday clubs and birthday party groups.

You will need plenty of energy, enthusiasm, motivation and the ability to relate to
young people and adults alike. We expect our staff to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, whilst delivering fun and safe taster activity sessions.

As part of the role, you will also be required to get involved in other aspects of the Acorn Arrow Valley Centre daily operation.
