What will you be doing?

As a qualified Watersports Instructor, you’ll get to work at an award winning park that not only is used for leisure activities but also is crucial to the supply of water to Anglian Water’s millions of customers.

The watersports centre offers sailing, windsurfing, rowing and paddle boarding. We offer a fun filled day out for beginners to experts, as well as group tuition for school groups and corporate events.

We need you to work alongside your colleagues to ensure an efficient, safe and profitable service. You’ll provide excellent customer service and put your all in to every day when guiding and instructing our visitors during their activity, providing one to one and group tuition. You’ll help to maintain equipment and get involved in training seasonal staff. You must be equally at home in our office and shop environment as well as out on the water.

Requirements

What do you need?

It’s essential that you have a RYA instructor qualification.   Ideally you’ll have experience in a similar environment and be completely customer focused whilst assisting people of all ages and abilities. You will need a proven ability to follow processes and procedures and a sound knowledge of watersports Governing Body Guidelines.

We are open all year round, and have extended opening hours during the summer months. You’ll need a flexible approach to working hours and be willing to work in all weathers!
