Carlingford Adventure is recognised as the most successful outdoor adventure centre in Ireland. We’re lucky enough to be located in a stunning part of the Country and each year we welcome over 45 instructors to help us lead our action-packed land, sea and sky activities!
We are renowned for providing our Instructors with industry leading training across all activities and this in turn provides an opportunity for our people to shine and ensure all our guests have fun in a safety first environment! The activities we offer include Ireland's Largest Aerial Zip Park, climbing, canoeing, high ropes, hill walking, kayaking, raft building, sailing, team building, SUP and Laser Combat.
We take full advantage of the beautiful blue water to take our huge variety of clients to play on our water inflatables, pier jumping, to see the seals or climb through a tunnel to a local waterfall!
As a water sports instructor you must be highly motivated and able to entertain groups (and keep them warm) on the water. Our instructors must have a good understanding of the climate and tidal conditions and take this into account when planning an activity session with health and safety at top priority.
It is important to us that instructors have a good sense of humour, are charismatic and able to adapt their teaching techniques and session plans to suit their clientele.
You must be enthusiastic and passionate about outdoor adventure! All our instructors must hold at least one of the following watersports instruction qualifications:
· UKCC Level 2 / ICU Level 2 Instructor
· RYA Sailing/Windsurfing Instructor
· RYA/ISA Powerboat Level 2
All instructors must be at least 20 years old and hold a valid First Aid qualification
Join the Carlingford team for rewarding work, free training and an exciting outdoor experience in a stunning part of Ireland!
