This is a broad and key management role that involves strategic and hands-on management
and leadership. The operations manager will ensure the delivery of a great
service and our products at every stage of the client journey and will play a
key part in the development of the business and brand to help take it to the
next level.
In this exciting position the Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for
our existing overseas operations which include 2 Active Beach Clubs in Greece, Yacht
Sailing Operations in Greece and a selection Speciality Active Breaks in
Greece.
They will
Work closely with the directors and accounts to ensure that all financial processes and
budgets are managed and reported accurately, efficiently and on-time.
Develop procedures to streamline and complete all necessary administration, produce
regular management reports and presentations for the directors and maximise the
use of on-line collaboration tools and apps to maximise team efficiency.
Purchase equipment, spares and branding material within budget and organise delivery
on-time to our overseas resorts.
Assist in the development, design and delivery of our website, digital and printed marketing
material, promotions and packages to enhance our on-line presence, manage
in-resort social media post, blogs and branding with the overall aim of
increasing online traffic, increasing sales, return clients and reducing budget
spend.
Build capable, highly motivated teams in a short space of time and manage all HR systems and operations
including recruitment, development and disciplinary procedures.
Organise regular overseas resort visits – refits, layup, training. Initially
visits to our overseas operations will be of a longer duration to help build a
full understanding of our products and manage operations locally.
Conduct on-going reviews of performance through analysis of questionnaires and feedback and how
to improve our products and implement positive changes.
Manage health and safety at all times and develop live risk assessment procedures. Make sure
our operations are compliant under local laws in the countries where we operate
and UK law. This must be monitored, audited and updated as required.
Help identify strategic new areas of development and expansion and help develop the business
with the addition of further Active Beach Clubs, Yacht Sailing partnerships, Ski
locations and a new portfolio of specialty Active holidays in exciting new destinations.
