If you are looking to create unforgettable experiences working with children then our Residential Centre in Chailland, France is the place for you!
We are recruiting for Group Leaders for the 2020 Season with start dates around February 2020.
We are looking for outgoing, friendly & approachable individuals. You must always be confident in holding the attention of children whilst always considering all aspects of Safety in every role you undertake.
As a Group Leader you will need to demonstrate a number of skills, such as communication, Organisation & Adaptability.
The role requires Group Leaders to lead Sessions both Onsite & on excursions around the local area in a safe & professional manner. The successful candidates will also assist at mealtimes & housekeeping when required. You will also be involved in Evening entertainments and games ensuring all children on site have a memorable experience.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience of working in a similar environment. We would be ideally looking for someone who has some high ropes, archery & fencing qualifications and someone who can fluently speak French.
You must be at least 18 Years old to apply for a role with Chateau Beaumont & all successful applicants will be required to undergo a DBS check.


  • Previous experience of working in Activity Leadership/Outdoor industry is essential.
  • Positive behaviour and a willingness to learn
  • Motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability be capable of working to learn new skills and self-develop
  • Ability to demonstrate a mature and professional approach all duties that you are tasked with
  • Ability to act as a good role model to other colleagues and children on centre.
  • French language knowledge desirable but not essential and you must hold a valid passport.
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred but not essential.
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be necessary in the event of a successful application.
